About Us
Aakaara offers handcrafted and hand-painted home décor. Orders are placed through our online store and fulfilled according to availability and the details shown on each product page.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian’s consent) to make a purchase. You confirm that the information you provide at checkout is accurate and complete.
Products & Pricing
- Each piece is handmade; slight variations in colour, pattern, or finish are part of the craft and are not considered defects.
- Prices are listed in INR unless otherwise stated and include applicable taxes where indicated at checkout.
- We reserve the right to update prices, product descriptions, and availability without prior notice. If the price of an item you ordered changes before payment is confirmed, we will contact you before proceeding.
Orders & Payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order (for example due to stock limits, pricing errors, or suspected fraud). Payment must be completed through the methods offered at checkout. Ownership of goods passes to you once we have received full payment and the order has been dispatched.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivery timelines shown at checkout or on product pages are estimates. Delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control may occur. Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the address you provided (or upon pickup, if applicable).
Custom & Bespoke Orders
Custom commissions may require a deposit and additional lead time. Once production has begun, custom orders are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy.
Intellectual Property
All site content, product designs, photography, and branding remain the property of Aakaara or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our designs or content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to interfere with its security, scrape content at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aakaara is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
